I like the idea of Jack Nicklaus to think double the strength of pitching. Have an open stance to imitate the impact position of the body and just have the clubface directed to the hole.

I took your instruction to my local practice facility and for the first time I was able to? consistently get out of the bunker with soft-landing shots. Putting my weight on my left side, the thought of crashing down into the sand just behind the ball, and following through really helped.
