In the traditional swing (the swing I was taught) it was a sin to do anything other than keep your left arm straight! What we have learned in the last 50 years with bio-mechanics and how the human body works, that is a thing of the past. Now, I am not saying bend the ^$@( out of the left arm but if you are passive and the left arm bends a little as a result of the softness, more whip through the hitting area which would create more club head speed! It's your choice

Went to the driving range today and could not lift the ball more than three feet off the ground with the driver. I was getting distances of 175 along the ground. Didnt realise i had to align the tee with my left foot. Is this the only trick to getting height!? Looking forward to trying the tips tomorrow. Best golf lesson on youtube by a mile. I see your point and I totally agree with what you are saying. I have received hundreds of emails regarding all of the video clips with golfers pointing out issues with the verbage as it relates to the video instruction. The longest clip on the website is under 3 minutes and it's more of an overall view because there is no way a golf swing can be taught in 3 hours much less 3 minutes. Obviously you're a golfer and I'm sure you would agree with me on that! Thanks for your comment!

hey one question. for the past 4 weeks or so ive been puhing the ball way right and i cant figure out why. my hips arent spinning out to fast and im not to vertical on my backswing. when i video taped myself i noticed that my hands drop almost to far downwards in the backswing creating this shoulderr in front, arms behind push like impact desicion. i guess my wuestion is, is there a certain point where your hands have to stop "dropping" and get back on plane? or this done naturally?
